VISA Regattas are primarily run by adult volunteers working on and off the water, and NYSA hosts multiple regattas at the Norfolk Yacht and Country Club each year.

We are committed to keeping seasonal dues as low as possible, offering low-cost learn-to-sail clinics, and providing financial assistance to those in need so that the experience of sailing can be accessible to the widest diversity of young people possible.
Help us raise awareness of the NYSA opportunity with young people and their families in your school, church, or organization. Is there an activity fair, school assembly, or PTA meeting where we might send a coach? Get in touch and we'll coordinate! Please contact us at info@norfolkyouthsailing.org

We are fortunate to live in an area with multiple, strong intercollegiate sailing programs. Our paid coaches have typically been alumni of ODU, CNU, or other schools with competitive teams. As these folks are often young, mobile, and transitioning to full time careers, we are keen to keep a pipeline of talent to ensure we can offer the best experience possible each season. Would you or someone you know make a good fit as a sailing coach? Contact us at info@norfolkyouthsailing.org
Have access to a skiff or small to midsize power boat you're willing to lend us during a regatta or sailing clinic? We may well take you up on it! Contact us at info@norfolkyouthsailing.org
